Board and Accommodation

The rate for board and accommodation at Grimersta Lodge is £1,015 per week or £145 per night and is standard throughout the season. The rate includes breakfast, a picnic lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, and assumes 8 nights’ accommodation. There is no charge for the second Wednesday night as some guests may be required to move rooms to allow changeover.

Lodge Parties

Lodge parties allow private use of the lodge (other than on changeover nights) and are available throughout the season. Lodge parties are offered on the basis of 8 rods. If there are less than 8 rods then either the full rate is payable, or the lodge may be made available to other guests. Additional or non-fishing guests will be invoiced for board and accommodation at the daily rate.

Invoices

Guests will be invoiced for a deposit of £1,000 per rod (or total fishing rate if lower) when the reservation is confirmed. Invoices for the outstanding balance of the fishing (if applicable), and for board and accommodation will be issued some six weeks prior to arrival and are payable at that time. After each visit a subsequent invoice for additional items such as tackle, drinks and sundries will be issued and is payable upon receipt. Unless previously arranged with the Factor, the person making the booking will be responsible for settling the account of their guest or party and all liabilities incurred.

Value Added Tax

All prices include VAT where appropriate.

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation, we will readvertise the vacancy. Should a late cancellation occur, and we are unable to let the vacancy, the full cost of the booking is payable.

Insurance

It is strongly recommended that guests insure against holiday and travel cancellation.
