Tariff 2019


Season 2019 at Grimersta will commence on 13th June and ends on 15th October. The Season is divided into Early, High and Late periods and fishing rates vary between periods. Terms quoted for fishing are per rod/week (6 days) and include the services of ghillies, and Temporary Membership of Grimersta Sporting Club for guests. A summary of fishing periods and applicable rates is shown below.

Board and Accommodation. The rate for board and accommodation is standard throughout the season. The rate includes breakfast, a picnic lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, and assumes 7 nights’ accommodation in the lodge. There is no charge for the second Wednesday as some guests may be required to move rooms to allow changeover.

The guest’s rate for board and accommodation and is £875 per week or £125 per night. The rate for a couple sharing a room is £1,400 per week or £200 per night.

Lodge Parties. Lodge parties allow private use of the lodge (other than on changeover nights) and are available throughout the season. Lodge parties are offered on the basis of 8 rods. If there are less than eight rods then either the full rate is payable, or the lodge made available to other guests. Additional or non-fishing guests will be invoiced for Board and Accommodation at the daily rate.

Invoices. A deposit of £1,000 per Rod (or total fishing rate if lower) is required in order to confirm reservations and is payable within 30 days. Invoices for the outstanding balance of the fishing and for board and accommodation will be issued some six weeks prior to arrival and are payable at that time.

After each visit a subsequent invoice for additional items such as tackle, transport, drinks and sundries will be issued and is payable upon receipt.

Unless previously arranged with the Factor, the person making the booking will be responsible for settling the account of their guest or party, and all liabilities incurred.

Cancellation. In the event of a cancellation the Factor will readvertise the vacancy. Should a cancellation occur and we are unable to let the vacancy, the full cost of the booking is payable.

Insurance. We strongly recommend guests insure against holiday cancellation and have suitable travel insurance cover.

Value Added Tax. All prices include VAT (20%) where appropriate.
